Charles Harding
Composer and sound artist specializing in electroacoustic/soundscape composition. He explores the intricate relationships between nature and technology through computer-based music.
Hum
Hum is an electroacoustic soundscape project by Charles Harding developed through field recordings made inside the historic Charlotte Street Arts Centre in Fredericton, NB, Canada.
Using creaking floorboards, resonant stairwells, rehearsal rhythms, and seasonal textures, the building is treated as both instrument and archive. These recordings are transformed live through real-time processing into a layered sound collage that invites deep listening and reflection on place, memory, and community. A multi-channel version of Hum will premiere during the residency at Schhh in Östra Hoby, Sweden, with additional performances planned in Canada.

Jorn Ebner
From the beginning, engaged with art in the public realm and performative situations. From 2000 onwards, working with digital tools and internet technology. Since 2008 focus on sound art and drawing.
Construction Works
During the residency, I would reverse and enhance my sound performance Construction Works into a stand-alone audio work, experimenting with surround sound and a speaker orchestra set up, using the respective facilities at Schhh. The piece refers to recent urban developments resulting in higher rental costs, gentrification and public protest.
