We’re now welcoming applications for our autumn residency period in Östra Hoby and thought
you – or someone you know – might be interested in joining us. We welcome composers and sound artists working with electroacoustic practices such as live electronics, fixed media, sound art, or experimental art music.
The residency takes place in Östra Hoby, a small and peaceful village in the scenic and artistically rich region of Österlen. The sea is within walking distance, and there is a bus stop 100 meters away with connections to Malmö and just a 2-hour journey to Copenhagen Airport. A quiet place for focused work and part of a vibrant local context.
We provide:

- Small DIY electronics workshop with soldering station
- Artistic and local support networks
- Opportunities for local collaboration with artists and communities
- Private room with desk, mixer, and headphones – work directly in your own space
- Artist fee 7000 SEK (incl. tax), invoiced by the artist
We expect:
- An informal artist talk, gathering (fika or dinner) with neighbours and local creatives
- A public event at the end of the residency (e.g., concert, sound art presentation)
