Locus brings together composer-performers Ann Rosén objects/electronics, Cat Hope (bass flute), Louise Devenish (vibraphone, percussion), Robert Ek (clarinet) and Sten-Olof Hellström (electronics) in a program of improvised and graphically notated music exploring drawing, lines, frictions and points of connection through sound. Accompanying the live music performance at Hypnos Theatre, Malmö, the cinema will screen a series of animated notation scores, short films, and live streamed sonic actions created for each work, offering audiences additional insight into the practices and processes behind the music.
